The House that Speed Built

What's the one reason athletes go to GAMESPEED?
To Get Faster!!

Above all else, my reputation has been built on being the guy who will make you faster. Since 1995, I have prided myself on providing premiere speed training for athletes.

Let’s be clear: I’m not a football, soccer, baseball coach or personal trainer. I'm a Professional Speed Specialist.

What sets me apart is my experience as an athlete, coach, and trainer. Because I know all sides of speed development, I see it as a craft, a skill that's not learned in a classroom, certificate course or doing what I did as a athlete in high school or college.

If all you think you only need to do some drills and sprints to get faster, you are sorely mistaken. The craft of speed is a process of science, art, confidence and imagination. Speed training takes analysis, diagnosis, prescription, communication and administration.

A well-meaning parent, high school coach, club coach, guy at the gym or former athlete may give you advice on speed training, but it's not the same thing as working with a speed training professional. This is not my side job – it’s my profession. I have earned my credentials through time, experience, studying, application and commitment.

Survival of the Swiftest

Let’s be honest, in most sports those who are slow, don't play! How many athletes are given a shot just based on their speed? Or overlooked because they’re too slow? Most scenarios in sports come down to one thing: GET THERE FIRST!

- Get the ball first

- Break Away

- Beat the throw

- First off the line

You name the scenario and there is some aspect of speed involved.

In most cases, the spoils go to the swift, not the strong. Don't get left behind.

Speed is not just Running

The craft of speed development encompasses more than just running.

- Speed must manifest itself in both physical and mental demonstrations.

- Speed must be scenario dependent. The speed requirements for athletes vary by sport, position, and competitive situation. Speed is used as a variety of ways as a tool to achieve competitive dominance.

- Running, hand-eye, foot-eye, reaction, adjustments, decision making are all forms of speed. At Gamespeed I break it down and we train it all. It goes well beyond, ladders, cones, parachutes and track drills.

- Bat speed, shot speed, first movement, redirection, recovery are all examples of speed. We define YOUR specific need for speed. Use the speed you need in the proper moment to dominate. One more step, one sooner step, if games are decided by inches and feet you better know how to get them.

Whether you've lost that step,

want to gain a step, or

want to be one step closer to your goals, call us.

Gamespeed is not for those who want to

"work out" but those who want to "TRAIN".
