Since these exercises are not normally taught at your local dojo, spa or health club I will start out with giving you three progression exercises in this article. I would start with very light weight or even a broom handle to work proper technique. However these first

three exercises will be done with light DB (dumbbells). I suggest that for now simply add these three into your existing workout.

First Exercise: Dead Lift

Starting Position-place 2 light weight dumbbells on floor, spread feet about shoulder wide and bend over and grip each DB (dumbbell) with a horizontal grip. Bend from the legs not the back. Keep back straight and simply put butt down in a sitting position.
