Speed programs should develop proper running form, foot quickness, reaction, and acceleration. There are many techniques used to make you faster.

Resistance training: This type of training is characterized by putting a load on the muscles. The results are increased power output and stride length. The most common methods:
  • Hill or Sand Running
  • Weighted Vests or Pants
  • Sled or Tire Pulling
  • Partner Towing
